What are treasure chest assignments?

10-15 minute writing assignments where we try to explore a topic or question in a free-form way. Each week, the topic or question are different. This is basically ‘assigned thinking’

Why am I doing this on a website?

This class uses google docs.

so what?

Google, as a company, tracks you, profiles you, and sells your identifying information for profit. I want to avoid that as much as possible.

who are you afraid of?

There aren’t people “out to get me”—-I am not an important enough person.

so why are you doing this?

I am not an important enough person… yet.
